Glenn Cogan, Founder
Glenn is an alumnus of MiraCosta and San Diego State University, where he earned his AA, AS and will earn hi BS in Criminal Justice (Law) and Public Administration in Spring 2023. Glenn plans to get his Law Degree (JD) from University San Diego School of Law, and will take the CA Bar Exam in 2023. Glenn brings unrivaled energy and 25+ years of professional marketing, brand building experience as a former brand owner in the skate, surf,and snow industries.
Glenn is also a living donor. When Glenn donated a kidney to his wife's cousin Kim in October 2021, he found himself caught in a qualification loophole that prevented him from getting financial aid with his non-medical transplant-surgery-related living donor expenses. Glenn experienced a gap in the system firsthand that he wanted to fix, and FreetoLive was born!

Lisa Christian, Director
Lisa brings unparalleled professional experience and expertise in corporate operations and customer service to the FreetoLive nonprofit. Lisa started her career in the Banking industry as a customer service manager for HSBC 17-years ago. Lisa was recruited by Affinity Development Group to manage customer service for the Costco Auto Program nine years ago. Lisa is currently the Director of Promotions for Costco Auto Program.
Lisa is deeply passionant about the FreetoLive mission. Not only because her father suffers with end-stage kidney failure, but also because her cousin, and lifelong friend "Kim" received her lifesaving kidney from our Founder Glenn Cogan.

Erica Castellanos, Director
Erica is an alumnus of The University of San Diego where she received her BA in Communications. Erica is Glenn & Lisa's neighbor and a long-time close family friend. When she realized Glenn needed financial help with travel, accommodations, and other non-medical-related transplant expenses, she jumped on the chance to become a part of a non-profit that provides living donor aid with non-medical-related expenses.
Erica's exact response when she was invited to join the FreetoLive team... "My father-in-law died of kidney disease. No one should ever die needing a lifesaving organ, or ever worry whether they can afford to donate an organ to save a human life - of course I want to help be a part of this new nonprofit." Erica brings unsurpassed professionalism and talent to her position as a Director at FreetoLive.

Erich is highly regarded as a branding and creative marketing savant. He is the co-founder and Creative Director of BASIC Agency, current partner and CBO af Everbowl Craft Superfood, freelance brand consultant and owner of BRAND RECIPE (brand-recipe.com) co-founder, SOIL CoCreate, co-founder Prxm Collective, Partner, Piston Pete's Brewery & Distillery, and Partner and CBO, Oak Tree Mountain.
Erich brings a humanity centered core element and deep understanding of branding, marketing, consumer psychology, and new business start-up experience that cannot be paid for, or even found in another agency or human being. Julie Cochrane, Director
Julie brings with her more than 20-years of professional business marketing, development and strategic business growth experience. Julie is a former board member of Kidney Walk Canada. and is currently a Rapid Transformational Practitioner based in Vancouver, Canada. She helps clients from all over the world cope with a wide range of emotional, mental and physical issues that are preventing them from being happy and enjoying life on their terms.
Julie has authored and co-authored several self-improvement, self-empowerment books, and is well known worldwide for her Rapid Transitional Therapy approach to helping people with social anxiety, as well as a wide range of other anxiety-related issues, low self-confidence and people suffering from a loss of direction and motivation. Julie brings an area of expertise that is a welcome addition to the FreetoLive team!

Julie is an alumnus of Miami University of Ohio where she received her BS in Education, and a University of San Bernadino graduate, where she received her Masters in Education. Julie also brings the experience of being a living kidney donor to her Donor Advocate role at FreetoLive.
Julie brings unsurpassed experience as a professional educator with over 32 years of experience teaching, leading, and inspiring students in the San Diego School District. Julie is also a kidney gramma! Her kidney recipient has had two babies since having her transplant surgery 22-years ago!

Lois Hubbard, Board
Lois is an alumnus of Washington State University where she received her BS in Business Administration. She is a well-known and highly regarded member of her Odessa, WA community where she lives and operates an independent insurance agency.
Lois brings the experience of being a living donor kidney recipient to her role at FreetoLive. Lois lives every day with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) and was on dialysis for two years before receiving a life-saving living donor kidney transplant in 2013. Lois knows first hand the blessing of receiving the “Gift of Life” and we are happy to have her on the FreetoLive board where she says "she looks forward to giving back to living donor recipients and living donors."
